Sandi Lewis

Obituary of Sandi Lee Lewis

Sandi L. Lewis joined this world with a light, unique to anyone other than her own on September 19, 1963, to Catherine Skender and Donald Lewis. Sandi graduated from South High School in 1982 and graduated from ITT Technical Institute. Sandi was the youngest out of five children.

Sandi was someone who built meaningful and lasting relationships with everyone who was blessed to know her. Sandi's life-long love was her pride and joy, her son Tyler. If you knew Sandi, you also knew she was proud of her family, and her lineage, you likely also heard that her grandmother was a survivor of the Titanic.

Her passions were her family, friends, and her Phoenix Suns. Sandi was a dedicated, honest, and loving woman. She was someone who could easily make you feel like the most loved person in the world. She was a true and honest friend and confidant to many. Sandi was a hardworker who built a meaningful career in a male-dominant trade. She protected the lives of many through her work to inspect and maintain fire alarms in critical facilities. Sandi's true north star has always been her son, Tyler. She raised Tyler as a single mother and instilled in him the same values she held herself, integrity, independence, and courage.

To all that were blessed to know Sandi, we are truly better people because of it.

Sandi leaves behind her son Tyler (Phoenix, AZ), her brothers Gary (Riverton, UT) and Jerry (Phoenix, AZ), her sister Diane (Salt Lake City, UT) and her fur-children Patron and Jagger. She also leaves behind countless close friends that she considered family. Sandi is preceded in death by her friend Donald, her mother Catherine, and her sister Cheryl.

Sandi was a force to be reckoned with, someone who will live on through us forever.
