Obituary of Jonathan George Hershberger

Jonathan George Hershberger came in this world on January 9th of 1988 to the smell of popcorn and the sound of the Vikings beating the Forty Niners in NFC Playoffs. His love of both football and popcorn started that very day. Jonathan had a love for sports, and he was very talented at all he participated in. His love for books was something he shared with his Grandma Caryl. Even reading the backs of cereal he sat in front of. Jonathan always found a place in his heart for animals. Whether it was rescuing a tiny kitten at a gas station or scaling a fence to rescue, his now dog, Gera from a negligent owner. Happy, fun, caring, loving and genuine are what his friends and family will remember him for. He always made them laugh and enjoy life with him. Jonathan lost his life September 9th of 2021 at 33 years of age. He is survived by his parents, David and Georgeanna Hershberger and his brother, Jeff Hershberger. The Hershberger Family will have a Reception following the Memorial Service at Beatitudes Campus 1610 West Glendale Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85021 from 4:00PM - 6:00PM.
