Obituary of Jessica Allison Yungkans

Jessica Allison Yungkans passed on August 15, 2021 after a long battle with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on March 3, 1994 to parents Jim and Jacque as the baby of the family with an older brother, Joseph and older sister, Juliann. She came into this world a fighter, being diagnosed with CF before she was even born and needing surgery within the first few minutes of being born. Her battle with CF was nothing easy but she never let it stop her from doing what she wanted to do. Her passions included playing volleyball and basketball. In high school, she was even considered one of the best Volleyball players in the state and picked to play Center for the 1st Team All State. Her high school Basketball team even won the State Championship. She had the brightest personality as a child, walking up to strangers and asking them if she could sing to them while she waited in doctors offices. She was a performer at heart and loved to sing and dance and make others smile. Her smile was so infectious and she was adored by her family. She had a perfect mixture of sassiness and sweetness in her attitude, she'd tell you anything to make you laugh and smile but also roll her eyes at you if you tried telling her what to do. She was a wonderful woman who is loved, missed and will always be cherished. She was a loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend.
