Obituary of Thomas George Fitzpatrick

Mr. Thomas George Fitzpatrick Jr., age 64 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away February 3, 2021. Tom was born in Jamaica, New York City, on October 19, 1956, to Thomas George Fitzpatrick and Anne Marie Harkin (Fitzpatrick). Tom worked and resided at the Arizona Training and Evaluation Center (AZTEC) since July 2nd, 1980. Despite his disabilities he enjoyed working for over 40 years. Tom was our resident pioneer. He was also well known as Elvis. Tom always dressed up as Elvis on Halloween, AZTEC Talent Shows, and other events. He was a most impressive Elvis impersonator, and #1 Elvis fan. Tom was a very happy man. He always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed all life had to offer. Tom was not one to complain. If he wasn't feeling well, you would never know it, because he would always reply that he was fine. Tom will forever hold a special place in all our hearts, and we are already missing his Elvis poses! Rest in peace Tom. You earned your wings! Tom has no known surviving family members. Tom will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery. Due to COVID 19 restrictions a service will be held at a later date.
