Obituary of Shawn William Bruce

Shawn William Bruce was born in Manhattan, New York on February 18, 1970 to Rudy and Lucy Bruce and he had more than his share of love. Shawn was educated in the New York Educational System, graduating from Thomas Edison. Shawn was a talker, and consequentially this lead to employment as a Telemarketer. He worked for Tessers Management Firm as a solicitor for product services, a position that gave him much satisfaction. An avid baseball fan, he embraced the New York Mets and the Yankees. He and his grandmother would watch them play constantly. Shawn excelled at playing baseball and became a player with a professional Little League Team. He toured American cities as well as some foreign countries, this afforded him the chance to have exciting and new learning experiences. While living in New York, Shawn met Carlene Crenshaw, they married, and from that union four children were born. A visit to the State of Arizona found Shawn loving its charm and reasonable prices. Therefore, soon thereafter the family relocated to Arizona and have lived there for twenty-one years. Shawn Bruce was a "trouble-maker" and he loved it- Saying "I didn't know" and then corrected by a family member stating "yes, you did!"... fun was had by all, it was a good life. Shawn was a caring, warm, funny well-liked, kind hearted person with a great sense of humor and you were drawn to him because of those qualities. Sadly, on January 1, 2021 Shawn was called home to be with the Lord. He leaves to mourn: Mother Lucy Bruce-Thomas (Eustace), father Rudy Bruce (Joan) brother Bryce Allen, sisters Randi Bruce and Tori Watson, his wife Carlene Bruce, Children Shawn Jr., Asia, Shane and Dashon, Grandchildren Erique, Nina and Zaire, and "auntie" Myrtle Davis and hosts of cousins, relatives and countless friends.
