Adolfo Yrales Medrano, 86, passed away on June 4, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on September 28, 1934 in Los Angeles, CA. His family moved to Arizona when Adolfo was still a baby and settled in Phoenix in the Golden Gate Barrio. Adolfo was a hard worker. At a young age, he worked at United Produce which later became Affiliated Produce Company. It was during these early years that he married Margaret. He later worked for the City of Phoenix, Parks and Recreation at the South Phoenix District Cody Yard for 25 years. During this time he and Margaret ran "Medrano Building Maintenance" Cleaning Business for 7 years. After retiring, he also volunteer with Tony Medrano to setup baseball fields and cleaning the facilities, he went on to work at St. Agnes Catholic Church for 8 years before he finally stopped working at about 80 years of age. Adolfo is survived by his sons Joseph (Judy), Alexander, Anthony Thomas and Dominic Sr., his daughter, Monica Medrano, Grandsons: Michael Baker, Dominic Medrano Jr. and Matthew Medrano; Grand Daughters: Ashley Marquez(Juan), Caitlyn Medrano and McKayla Schmall; Great Grandson, Caleb Marquez; Daughter in Law, Gloria Sandoval; Sisters: Irene Aguilar, Ramona Mendoza and Rosemary Favela; and Brothers: Andy and Richard Cuellar. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Margaret, brothers: Gabriel Medrano, Richard Medrano, Jesus Cuellar, Bobby Cuellar and parents: Isidro Medrano and Rosa Cuellar. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Samaritan Funeral Home, Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021, 10:00 am at St Agnes Catholic Church, Phoenix, AZ with Burial following at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
